1. Why this policy exists
Digitlify prices every plan with a published credit allowance and a set of fair-use caps. We do not use the marketing-speak no-limit promise on any plan. This is a deliberate choice: no-limit promises always end in surprise enforcement, and they make the platform worse for the 99% of customers who use it reasonably.
Instead, this page publishes the exact cap for every tier. You can read it before you buy, plan your usage against it, and never be surprised.
2. Per-tier caps
FUP tier follows your Digital Office plan:
- FUP-S — Solo and Starter plans
- FUP-M — Team plan
- FUP-L — Business plan
- FUP-E — Enterprise plan (negotiated per contract)
| Cap | FUP-S (Solo / Starter) | FUP-M (Team) | FUP-L (Business) | FUP-E (Enterprise) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max API calls / day | 500 | 2,000 | 10,000 | Negotiated |
| Max concurrent AI tasks | 3 | 10 | 30 | Negotiated |
| Max document upload size | 50 MB | 200 MB | 1 GB | Custom |
| Max RAG corpus size | 100 docs | 1,000 docs | 10,000 docs | Custom |
| Max digital-employee autonomous runtime | 4 hours/day | 12 hours/day | 48 hours/day | Custom |
| Max outbound messages (email/SMS) / day | 100 | 500 | 2,000 | Custom |
| Background scheduled-job frequency | hourly | every 15 min | every 5 min | every 1 min |
3. Breach handling (3-strike)
If your workspace exceeds any of the caps above, Digitlify follows a three-strike progressive response:
- Strike 1 — Soft warning. A dashboard banner and an email to the workspace admin. No throttling. You can keep working.
- Strike 2 — Second soft warning. Another banner and email, with a pointer to the topup pack options if you need more capacity.
- Strike 3 — Soft throttle. New tasks queue instead of running immediately. Existing running tasks complete normally. You can unblock by buying a topup pack or waiting for the next period.
- Strike 4+ — Hard throttle. New tasks are blocked until the next plan period or until a topup pack is purchased.
No surprise charges. You will never be billed for overage without explicit consent. We always prefer to throttle rather than auto-charge.
4. Consumption order
When a task runs, credits are consumed in this strict order:
- Plan credits first. Your monthly plan allowance is always spent before any topup pack.
- Oldest topup pack next. If you have multiple topup packs, the one expiring soonest is drained first. This prevents stranded credits.
- Newest topup pack last. After older packs are empty, the newest pack is used.
- Overage billing (opt-in only). If you have enabled overage, tasks that would otherwise fail bill at $0.030/credit. Overage is off by default.
Your workspace dashboard always shows the current balance and the next expiry date so you know what will drain first.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. When we do, we will:
- Bump the version number at the top of this page (currently v1.0, effective 2026-04-09).
- Email all workspace admins at least 14 days before a cap tightens.
- Never tighten caps mid-period without notice. Any cap change takes effect at the start of your next plan period.
